In 1983, a career was launched with a young mind set on machine design and drafting using a drawing board, yes, literal drawing board with pencils, templates, compass, etc… 40 years later, that career has spanned across not only machine design and drafting, but manufacturing engineering, machine build, plant layout, and home design. All of these focused heavily on design, and a common sense approach to accomplish tasks given whether designing a home or a machine, or laying out a factory floor for better efficiency and flow. RIM design continues with this common sense approach to the design. Our services continue to be offered with integrity and attention to detail as it has throughout the past 40 years.

Our RESIDENTIAL service has experience in homes designed varying from small single-level dwellings to large multi-levels. Designs are done at design level only and not on an licensed architect level. Services can support architects and architectural firms.

Our INDUSTRIAL service has experience in various areas of plastics, metal-cutting and forming and material handling. Plant layout is crucial to successful production whether building parts for automobiles and consumer products, or launching a new business venture. Needing to understand how things fit and work for flow and efficiency will ensure success.
